GRASS TRACK RACING IN TAUPŌ
Taupō Racecourse welcomed harness racing for the first time in January 2026, bringing the trots to the grass track in the central North Island.
Racing takes place during the warmer months, with afternoon meetings where you can watch the horses from trackside. Bring along family or friends, settle in for a picnic and enjoy a few hours at the races.
