General admission is free for regular race meetings, so you can just turn up. There's no need to book ahead, and you can arrive and leave whenever you like.

Bring a picnic and settle in beside the track, or grab something to eat and drink from the on-course food and beverage outlets. It's a relaxed way to spend an afternoon watching the racing.

There's no need to dress up for a day at Winton. Comfortable, casual clothing is fine. As much of the action is outdoors, bring a hat, sunscreen or an extra layer depending on the weather.

Kids are welcome at Central Southland Raceway, with plenty of space to enjoy a family day at the races. Some meetings also feature free children's entertainment, games and activities, so check the raceday details to see what's planned.
